BOTOX® Cosmetic Treatment targets the root cause of lines in the face – muscle contractions. Smiling, frowning, squinting, and such acts cause repeated muscle contractions leading to crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead lines. "Muscles that move", which includes muscles of the upper face. 

BOTOX® injections block the nerve signals to the treated muscles, causing them to relax. The result is the reduced appearance and prevention of wrinkles.

BOTOX® typically lasts around 3-4 months, in some clients it can last slightly longer. It is also common for first-timers to notice that it may not last as long initially but may last longer after the second treatment. Everyone has a unique experience and results may vary.

Some facilities use a diluted concentration to give clients a “deal”. Here at UR Beauty & Wellness we use a one-to-one concentration which even exceeds the recommendations of the manufacturers of BOTOX®. It is our goal to give you quality results and have you look and feel your best.

JUVÉDERM®is a family of injectable hyaluronic acid dermal fillers used to provide 9 months to one year of correction for moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth). It is also used for lip augmentation. It is a smooth gel consistency. Hyaluronic acid works by holding in water at the injection site and acting as a cushioning agent. It adds temporary volume and a smoother appearance to skin. Some clients need more than one treatment for optimal results depending on the look they are wanting to achieve. 

COST: $400 per full syringe

Platelet-Rich Plasma contains concentrated amounts of platelets and growth factors found in the blood. These growth factors have been shown to stimulate co production. The PRP solution can be applied topically with microneedle-assistance or injected directly into the skin. PRP improves skin tone and  texture. PRP tends to give the best results when combined with microneedling. PRP is considered a "fertilizer" for the skin and it is recommended a minimum of three treatments for best results.

PRP with microneedling has many benefits for helping with hair regrowth as well. Consultation is needed to make sure you are a good candidate for this procedure.

Medical grade microneedling must be performed by a licensed medical provider. Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that uses small, sterilized needles to prick the skin. This treatment aims to generate new collagen and skin tissue to smooth, firm, and tone skin. Microneedling is mostly used on the face and may reduce the appearance of acne, scars, dark spots, wrinkles, and large pores. Neck and upper chest can also be treated. Recommended minimum 3 treatments for best results.

A trigger point injection is used to relax a muscle knot. Chronic muscle pain can have a significant impact on a person’s ability to function and their quality of life. Trigger point injections may offer immediate benefits to people who have chronic muscle pain. You may be able to have more than one trigger point treated during a session. A local anesthetic, such as lidocaine, which blocks pain receptors in muscles is injected into the area of concern using a small needle.

   Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin, also known as cobalamin.t plays a vital role in brain function and the production of DNA and red blood cells. Untreated vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to neurological problems or pernicious anemia, which occurs when your body doesn’t have enough B12 to produce the amount of red blood cells it needs. B12 deficiency leads to conditions such as nervous system disorders, gastric problems, depression and fatigue among a few.
